Flaine: the open-air museum

Located between Geneva and Chamonix, Flaine is a ski-in/ski-out resort whose centre is almost exclusively reserved for pedestrians. This means that you will find slopes, shops and leisure facilities in the immediate vicinity of your accommodation.

Spread over five levels (Flaine Front de Neige at 1,500 metres, Flaine Forum at 1,600 metres, Flaine Forêt at 1,700 metres, Flaine Montsoleil at 1,750 m and Le Hameau at 1,800 m), the resort of Flaine was imagined and designed by Marcel Breuer , a world-renowned architect. Today, Flaine is a veritable open-air museum where works by Picasso, Vasarely and Dubuffet rub shoulders with a number of buildings listed as historic monuments.

 

But Flaine is also one of the major resorts in the French Alps. Its ski area, linked to those of Morillon, Les Carroz, Samoëns and Sixt Fer à Cheval, forms the Grand Massif and offers a total of 265 kilometres of slopes. Its altitude and geographical location guarantee exceptional snow cover.

Time to hit the slopes! When the slopes close, we offer your group exclusive access to a chairlift for a thrilling night-time descent with a choice of unusual equipment.
For this experience, you will be equipped with a headlamp and supervised by instructors. Your descent will take you right to the heart of the resort.
Fun and thrills guaranteed!

Here are the different types of equipment available for you to take on a few challenges:
Sledges: easy and accessible, you can slide at
your own pace.
Snake sledges: sledges linked together
for group descents.
Yooners: a hybrid between a sledge and skis.
The snooc: the cousin of the yooner
At the same time, we offer a Savoyard aperitif around braziers. Enjoy a unique and friendly atmosphere while sampling local specialities.

Teambuilding - Snow Escape from the Sleeping giant

Legend has it that the resort of Flaine was built on a sleeping stone giant… Tired of crossing valleys, he found refuge on the pillow of the Giffre, known in local dialect as ‘Flainoz’.
Kept in a state of lethargy for several centuries by a structure with supernatural powers, the giant is in danger of waking up because parts of the structure were stolen last night!
Marcel Breuer, the architect who designed the resort, has given you a mission: find the stolen pieces to rebuild the structure and save the resort of Flaine!

KOHTeambuilding - Raid blanc'EZION

Get ready for an unforgettable experience on the slopes!
Start with a dynamic warm-up to music to get you in shape. Then, pass through the inflatable arch, the gateway to an exhilarating journey through the ski area. In teams, wearing your bibs, you will set off on a frantic race against the clock.
Your mission? Use your sense of direction to accurately interpret the maps and locate the markers hidden along the course, while completing a series of stimulating challenges. No previous sporting skills are required, just a desire to have fun and work as a team.

Teambuilding - OGNI

Become real ‘mushers’ and work as a team to build a wooden sled that you will race down a gentle slope. Using the tools and materials provided, teams must discuss and communicate to build and customise a giant sled before racing down the slope in the final race!
The sleds will then be evaluated according to several criteria: aesthetics, sturdiness and manoeuvrability on the established course.
