The Meilleurs Ouvriers de France in a Team-Building Event

19 October 2023

Born from a client’s need, we created the first corporate event bringing together so many Meilleurs Ouvriers de France (MOF). A few months ago, a locally committed stakeholder and proud promoter of regional talents contacted us to design a memorable event aligned with his CSR commitments.

The creation of the concept

It quickly became obvious to our teams: the Alps are rich in Meilleurs Ouvriers de France across diverse fields. Why not create an experience around these talents? This is how the Village des MOF was born. On June 2, 2023, we gathered iconic figures of French craftsmanship in an exceptional setting. On the program:

Digital Imaging Workshop – With Frédéric GAUDETTE
A fascinating introduction to motion capture where participants interacted with a virtual character before discovering the secrets of this technology.

Cheese Tasting Workshop – With Pierre GAY
A gourmet journey through emblematic regional cheeses: Tomme de Savoie, Beaufort d’Alpage, goat cheese & Reblochon.

Energy Saving Workshop – With Alexandre GALLO
Presentation of renewable energy sources for housing, followed by an interactive quiz and a practical case study.

Wood Carving Workshop – With Philippe DURET
A demonstration and introduction to this ancestral art, where each participant carved the company’s logo.

Boatbuilding Workshop – With Roger BEAUQUIS
A rich exchange and discovery of marine carpentry.

A memorable event

The event was a true success, both in terms of organization and participant engagement. Each workshop allowed participants to immerse themselves in the world of the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France, discover their techniques, and try their craft.

The exchanges with the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France were full of learning and sharing. Participants were able to ask questions, benefit from their expertise, and leave with valuable insights.

A goal achieved

Beyond the discovery of exceptional crafts, this event also created connections between participants. Newly merged teams were able to get to know each other better, discover one another’s professions, put faces to voices, and build synergies.

A strong CSR commitment

Our client’s CSR approach was respected at every stage of the event. All travel between workshops was done exclusively by electric bikes, reducing our carbon footprint and promoting sustainable mobility.

In addition, all partners and artisans involved were local, thus supporting the regional economy and showcasing local talents.

To go even further in this commitment, our client decided to donate an amount to the Association des Meilleurs Ouvriers de France, based on the number of kilometers cycled by participants during the event.

Organizing a unique and impactful event is a real challenge. By choosing to highlight the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France, our client succeeded in creating an unprecedented experience for its employees. Participants discovered exceptional crafts, exchanged with renowned experts, and strengthened their bonds within the company.

This event was also an opportunity to highlight our client’s CSR commitment, by promoting sustainable mobility and supporting local talents.
